T3 Stochastic Momentum Index (MT5)
T3 SMI blends the Stochastic Momentum Index with T3 smoothing to deliver clean momentum turns and trend‑aware signals on MetaTrader 5. You get reduced noise, early cross cues, and optional MTF confirmation.
What it shows
- SMI line & signal (T3‑smoothed) to capture momentum swings with less chop.
- Zero/mid‑zone context for bull/bear regime and exhaustion vs continuation.
- (Optional) MTF overlay to align entries with a higher‑TF bias.
- Alerts — SMI/Signal cross, zero cross, color flip.
Trade ideas
- Cross + structure: buy first SMI > Signal after a pullback; exit on opposite cross or mid‑zone loss.
- Zero‑line regime: take longs only when SMI above zero and rising; mirror for shorts below zero.
- Pullback re‑entry: in trend, enter when SMI re‑enters trend zone after a shallow mean‑revert.
- (Optional) Divergence check: de‑prioritize setups not confirmed by SMI vs price.
Inputs that matter
- SMI periods — main/fast/slow as provided.
- T3 smoothing — stability vs lag (b, hot, or factor if available).
- Levels — zero and OB/OS bands.
- MTF timeframe (optional).
- Alerts — cross, zero, flip.
Suggested usage
- M5–M15: pullbacks + cross with zero‑line filter.
- M30–H4: trend continuation and re‑entries.
- Daily+: bias map and momentum regime.
