RSX of Momentum (MT4)
RSX of Momentum applies RSX (a low‑noise RSI variant) to Momentum, producing a responsive, smooth oscillator that highlights impulse shifts, trend bias and exhaustion in MetaTrader 4.
What it shows
- RSX‑smoothed momentum line with stable slope/levels.
- Zero line for bull/bear regime and optional OB/OS bands for extremes.
- (Optional) arrows/alerts — zero‑line flips, slope changes, level exits and divergence hints.
Trade ideas
- Flip → first pullback: after a zero‑line cross up, buy the first shallow pullback while RSX‑Momentum holds above zero (mirror for shorts).
- Trend‑aligned entries: when slope > 0, use higher‑low hooks on the oscillator as continuation triggers.
- Range fades: when flat, fade outer‑band spikes back toward zero/midline.
- (Optional) Divergence filter: skip entries if price HH/LL is not confirmed by RSX‑Momentum.
Inputs that matter
- RSX length — smoothing vs responsiveness.
- Momentum period — raw impulse window.
- Price type/smoothing — noise vs lag.
- Levels — OB/OS and zero reference.
- Alerts — flips, slope, exits.
- Colors/widths — quick visual read.
Suggested usage
- M5–M15: flips and pullbacks.
