ADX Crosses (nrp) Histo Alerts (MT4)
ADX Crosses (nrp) Histo highlights +DI / −DI crosses with a clean histogram and non‑repainting (nrp) confirmation. It also tracks ADX expansion/contraction so you can filter entries by trend strength and time pullbacks/continuations in MetaTrader 4.
What it shows
- Directional Movement: +DI vs −DI crosses with color‑coded bias.
- ADX line / threshold (commonly 25) to gauge trend strength.
- Histogram view for cross/strength clarity; optional arrows/alerts on crosses, ADX rising/falling, and mid‑zone exits.
Trade ideas
- Trend‑filtered crosses: only take +DI over −DI (long) or −DI over +DI (short) when ADX > threshold (e.g., 20–25).
- Flip + first pullback: after a DI flip, wait for a pullback while ADX stays above the threshold, then take the next cross in trend direction.
- Range mean‑reversion: when ADX < threshold, fade exhausted pushes back to a mean (MA) and exit on the next DI cross.
- (Optional) Divergence hints: confirm with price HH/LL vs histogram slope.
Inputs that matter
- ADX period and DI period — responsiveness vs stability.
- ADX threshold — typical 20–25 (adjustable).
- Smoothing — for DI/ADX lines and the histogram.
- Alerts — DI crosses, ADX rising/falling, zone exits.
- Colors/widths — quick visual read.
Suggested usage
- M5–M15: intraday entries with ADX filter.
- M30–H4: swing continuations using flip → pullback → cross.
- Daily+: regime/bias read and risk tilt.
