WA Averages nmc — Trading Indicator for MT4

Multi‑method moving‑average baseline for MT4 with non‑repainting (nmc) logic — clean slope coloring, pullback timing and alerts.

WA Averages nmc (MT4)

WA Averages nmc is a multi‑method moving‑average baseline with optional non‑repainting (nmc) logic and smart coloring. It blends several average types (e.g., EMA, SMA, LWMA, T3, Jurik‑like, etc. — depending on build) and lets you switch/stack them to time pullbacks, flips and trend rides in MetaTrader 4.

Overview

What it shows

  • Selectable average types and length/smoothing options.
  • Color by slope/position to read bias at a glance.
  • (Optional) arrows/alerts — baseline cross, slope flip, touch/reject of the band/envelope if present.

Trade ideas

  1. Trend pullback: buy pullbacks to the WA line (or inner band) when slope is up and price reclaims above; mirror for shorts.
  2. Flip + first retest: after a baseline flip (price closes to the other side), take the first retest that holds the new side.
  3. Ride the wave: in strong trends, trail with the WA or an offset envelope; exit on slope flip.
  4. (Optional) Multi‑TF filter: higher‑TF WA slope defines regime; entries on lower TF.

Signals

Inputs that matter

  • Method / period / smoothing — responsiveness vs stability.
  • Price source — close/median/typical.
  • Coloring mode — by slope or price relation.
  • Alerts — crosses, slope, touches.
  • Bands/offsets — if provided in this build.

Suggested usage

  • M5–M15: pullbacks and flip‑retests.
  • M30–H4: swing continuations; trail exits on slope changes.
  • Daily+: portfolio tilt/hedging bias.
