Super Woodies CCI (MT5)
Super Woodies CCI refines the classic Woodies CCI concept: a main CCI drives bias around the zero line, while a Turbo CCI (shorter length) provides fast triggers. Add zone logic (±100/±200), histogram coloring and optional alerts to trade pullbacks, flips and trend continuations in MetaTrader 5.
What it shows
- Main CCI (bias by sign; watch ±100/±200 context).
- Turbo/Signal CCI — faster line used for entries/exits via crosses and hooks.
- Zero line — regime separator; rejects (ZLR) are classic patterns.
- (Optional) histogram/alerts — color by slope/sign; alerts on zero/zone crosses, Turbo↔Main crosses, divergence hints.
Trade ideas
- ZLR (Zero‑Line Reject): in an up‑bias, buy a higher‑low hook of Turbo above zero while Main stays > 0 (mirror for shorts).
- Flip + first pullback: after zero‑line flip, take the first pullback where Turbo reclaims Main and holds the new side.
- Break → Retest: on a strong move beyond ±100, wait for a retest toward zero and a Turbo‑over‑Main re‑trigger.
- (Optional) Range mean‑reversion: fade exhausted ±200 extremes back to zero with confirmation.
Inputs that matter
- Main CCI period — stability vs responsiveness.
- Turbo CCI period — trigger speed.
- Smoothing — reduce noise without dulling hooks.
- Zones/levels — ±100 / ±200 presets, adjustable.
- Alerts — zero/zone and cross events.
- Colors/widths — fast visual read.
Suggested usage
- M5–M15: intraday pullbacks and ZLRs.
- M30–H4: swing continuations after flips/retests.
- Daily+: portfolio bias/overheat read.
