HMA Trend TT (MT4)
HMA Trend TT is a Hull Moving Average (HMA) trend tool with a Trend‑Trigger (TT) signal layer. The HMA provides low‑lag direction, while TT highlights flips, retests, and momentum re‑acceleration. Designed for MetaTrader 4 with optional arrows/alerts.
What it shows
- HMA baseline — low‑lag smooth MA that defines bias and color.
- TT triggers — signal layer marking flips, retests, and slope changes.
- (Optional) arrows/alerts — HMA color flip, TT trigger, and baseline retest.
Trade ideas
- Color = bias: trade long when HMA is up/green; short when down/red.
- First pullback after flip: after a fresh color flip, take the first retest of HMA that holds.
- Ride the slope: add on higher‑lows/lower‑highs as long as slope persists.
- (Optional) Exit: trail just beyond HMA or the last swing.
Inputs that matter
- HMA period — responsiveness vs smoothness.
- TT sensitivity — earlier vs later triggers.
- Price source — Close/HL2/Typical/Weighted.
- Signals/alerts — color flip, TT trigger, retest.
- Colors/widths — fast visual read.
Suggested usage
- M5–M15: intraday trend‑following and pullbacks.
- M30–H4: swing continuations with HMA bias.
- Daily+: regime filter.
