DSL WPR (MT5)
DSL WPR fuses Williams %R with DSL (Discontinued Signal Line) logic: only the active side of the band is drawn, which keeps overbought/oversold rotations and bias flips cleaner. Built for MetaTrader 5.
What it shows
- Williams %R core (−100…0) mapped into a DSL band — only one side is active based on bias.
- Levels — typical −80/−20 (or custom) for timing rotations and trend filters.
- (Optional) markers/alerts — DSL flip, level exits/entries, slope changes.
Trade ideas
- Bias via DSL: trade with the active DSL side; a flip often marks regime change.
- First exit from extreme: after a flip, take the first move out of oversold/overbought in the new direction.
- Continuation hooks: during trends, enter on a hook back from mid‑zone while DSL remains active.
- (Optional) Divergence with price — caution, seek confirmation.
Inputs that matter
- %R length / smoothing — responsiveness vs smoothness.
- DSL levels — −80/−20 (default) or custom thresholds.
- Alerts — DSL flips, level touches/exits, slope flips.
- Colors/widths — fast visual read.
Suggested usage
- M5–M15: intraday rotations/pullbacks.
- M30–H4: swing continuation with DSL bias.
- Daily+: portfolio regime filter.
