DSL RSX (MT5)
DSL RSX blends a Jurik‑style RSX oscillator with DSL (Discontinued Signal Line) logic: only the active side of the band is drawn, so signals are cleaner and confirmed on closed bars. The goal is clearer trend‑bias + pullback timing in MetaTrader 5.
What it shows
- RSX core (0–100) with upper/lower DSL lines — only one side is active depending on bias.
- Level logic — typical zones 30/70 (or custom) for rotations and filters.
- (Optional) markers/alerts for 50‑cross, zone exits/entries, and DSL flips.
Trade ideas
- Bias by DSL: trade with the active DSL side; a flip often marks regime change.
- First pullback: after a flip, take the first exit from oversold/overbought in the new direction.
- Continuation: in trends, enter on an RSX hook back from mid‑zone while DSL stays active.
- (Optional) Divergence: price sets a new extreme while RSX/DSL doesn’t — be cautious and seek confirmation.
Inputs that matter
- RSX period / smoothing — responsiveness vs smoothness.
- DSL levels — overbought/oversold or custom thresholds.
- Alerts — DSL flip, 50‑cross, zone events.
- Colors/widths — fast visual read.
Suggested usage
- M5–M15: intraday rotations and pullbacks.
- M30–H4: swing continuations with DSL as bias.
- Daily+: portfolio regime filter.
